As we approach Spring time and warmer weather, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for all of the support you provide your student and our school each and every day. Without you, Muller Road would not be experiencing the successes we see each day.
We would also like to take this opportunity to ask that you continue to support us by being proactive in a few areas.
Thank you so much by helping us ensure our final quarter begins and ends successfully. This has been a wonderful school year thus far, and we are confident that with your continued support all of our students will have a successful fourth quarter.
Today is the start of Muller Road’s second week participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program. We are so very appreciative of everyone’s support thus far, but we are still $750 away from our goal and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Pennies for Patients is a 3-week service-learning program that gives students the unique experience of working together to help raise awareness and funds in honor of thousands of children and adults fighting against blood cancers. We are asking that everyone (students, faculty, parents, alumni, etc.) at Muller Road MIddle join in this effort of raising awareness and collecting funds to benefit the mission of LLS: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patient and their families.
Help support kids like Tyler. Tyler is a 9 year old and a Leukemia Survivor. He says, “Thank You for the change! Keep collecting money! Cure Leukemia!”

MRMS Junior Beta Club
Do you know students ages 9-19 who are interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)? You should tell them about the SC 4-H Engineering Challenge! This event, held on Saturday, April 14 at Midlands Technical College airport campus, features 7 different team competitions and 1 individual competition that students from all over South Carolina can participate in. Information about this year’s competitions and registration can be found on the event website: www.scionthemove.org/engineeringchallenge. Email Katie Burch at email@example.com with questions.
This Holiday Season, consider writing Holiday Cards for our local Veterans. Members of the Junior Beta Club at Muller Road are writing holiday cards for our veterans. We will be delivering those cards to the Dorn Veterans Hospital before the Winter Break.
Students and parents can create cards and drop them off to the Media Center. You can also give the cards to your Homeroom teacher.
